A Message From Cranelegs I'm not a web developer by trade. That may be obvious to you. Actually I write humor for a non-living (cranelegs pond). But there is nothing funny about Kliptown, South Africa, something I discovered when I had the opportunity to speak with Thulani Madondo and Sarah Langa, partners of Bob Nameng, founder of SKY. These are dedicated young people who have a vision for their families and neighbors and those who suffer incredible poverty. And they are doing something about it. So I did what I could. I volunteered to sponsor, build and support their website, www.sky-foundation.org. It's small potatoes quite frankly when compared to what they give of themselves every day. Anyway, help them out. Think creatively! For instance, a group of young women from a hIgh school in New England, came up with the idea to donate their recently replaced soccer uniforms. Sounds simple. It is and it's fantastic. So think about what you can do. In the meantime, while you're thinking what you can do, tell friends, tell neighbors, tell total strangers for all I care. Just do something! Thanks! Robert "Cranelegs" Crane |
